Palestinian prisoners held in Israel’s notorious Megiddo Prison succeeded in holding two members of the Israeli police in Section 10, Room 7, the Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs said yesterday.
In a post on its Facebook page, the commission said a state of tension and confusion prevails in the prison, noting that large forces of the Israeli repression units rushed the section.
In turn, the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners said it is following up on the developments in Megiddo Prison, stressing the prisoners’ right to respond to being targeted.
It noted that the Israeli occupation forces have closed the prison completely, while large armed forces have arrived at the section.
